Thanks to our July speaker, Mr. Jim Anderlik, assisted by Kurt Bramstedt, both from the Cast Iron Institute, on the presentation regarding the history of cast iron pipe.

Our next month's Guest Speaker will be Mr. Dwight Perkins, Director of IAPMO Field Operations and he will be talking about "Green Plumbing & Mechanical Code". Please make sure to put this in your calendar and come to the meeting to learn about this code.

Calling on all manufacturers, this is your chance to participate in the monthly technical meeting of the Los Angeles Chapter. We are inviting you to be the Table Top presentor. We have some changes to how the Table Top Presentor works. Instead of bringing a minimum of two (2) raffle gifts, you are just required to give a $50.00 donation to the Chapter. Another change is that you will be given five (5) minutes to present your product before the guest speaker's presentation instead of at the end of the presentation, and can still entertain questions at the end of the meeting. There you go folks, sign-up now by calling any of the Board Members.

There were quite a few changes to our Technical Calendar, so please check the Technical Calendar, included in this newsletter, and to name a few:

1. Oct. 6, 2010 Meeting will start at 6:30 P.M. in stead of 7:00 P.M.
2. Nov. 3, 2010 Meeting will move to Nov. 10, 2010 because it coincided with the ASPE Con vention.
